The overweight lover has left the house. The man with the big man swagger ,and the killer rhymes. "Heavy D" combined humor ,rhymes ,and an infectious beat to entertain us for years. "Heavy D" has passed away.

From Fats Domino to Biggie Smalls to "Heavy D". Rhythm and Blues and Hip Hop have produced big men who played big. "Heavy" was one of those guys.

A man with a urban beat - a political conscious Who loved his women like.....

The Fat Boys used their overweight as a comic foil. Heavy used his weight as big sexy. Style and Overweight the girlz loved "Heavy D".

Joe Frazier 1944-2011 : Enters "Fighters Heaven "

"Smokin Joe " Frazier died November 7 ,2012 .He was a great champion , a great man ! The first fighter to beat Muhammad Ali and the only fighter that brought out the true best in Ali. Joe was born in Beaufort South Carolina , the son of a sharecropper. He moved to Philly at the age of 16 . He took up boxing as he worked in a maetpacking slaughterhouse. In 1964 he won the Olympic Gold as a heavyweight.


After Muhammad Ali was stripped of his title , Joe Frazier went thru a elimination tournament defeating "Buster "Mathis in 1968.


He won Universal recognition as Heavyweight champion by defeating Jimmy Ellis the W.B.A. Champion by 5TH round Knockout.


Still there was Muhammad Ali in the wings "The Peoples Champion" after 15 brutal rounds .Frazier was World Heavyweight Champion.


Joe Frazier was a helluva fighter .He will be missed ,somewhere in Fighters Heaven , Joe is still throwing left hooks. Joe take us out in song !
