Its Joe the Plumber , He has come to fix the election

Joe Wurzelbacher is the most famous plumber in America since the punch line of that old joke about the plumber who drops dead . In getting his fifteen minutes of fame he got more than he bargained for . Joe got vetted by the public and now everyone know Joe is a fraud.

John McCain constantly mentioned Joe in the last presidential debate . Over twenty four times his name was called .The McCain tactic was to question the Obama tax proposals ,and also attract blue collar workers. I feel like I know "Joe the Plumber " , But say it ain't so Joe , you are not what you said you were.
Joe was supposed to be a metaphor for the working middle class stiff that was going to be stiffed by the oppressive Obama tax hike .A fact check bore the truth , that Joe would not get taxed like he thought he was. The taxes will kick in if only his income was over $250,000 not the value of the business. Plumbers make a lot of money but they don't make $250,000 a year. That would be a lot of clogged toilets.
Joe the Plumber attempted to ambush Obama but instead he got ambushed. Every candidate knows that when you put yourself out there , your past is up for review . Well Joe 's past got put out there too . McCain had to apologize to Joe on the David Letterman show, stating that he was sorry was Joe was getting all this unwanted attention from the media and yes, bloggers in Texas.
The Obama tax proposals need to be reviewed and studied , and Joe needs to study for his plumbers license . See it turns Joe ain't a plumber after all , but he is a plumbers helper. The local union confirmed that Joe applied to be an apprentice and did not finish the course requirements. That’s like saying you give a guy a rope and he is a cowboy .Whoa ,wait a minute ,that plumbing company that Joe wanted to buy, he now says that it was a goal not a firm deal. Those taxes that he was talking about paying under the Obama proposal ,well he does not pay the back taxes he owes to Ohio .
John McCain staked the debate outcome on the credibility of Joe the Plumber, if he staked the outcome of the election on "Joe the Plumber" ,its over. Like the joke , Who is it? It's Joe the plumber ,he has come to fix the sink. The McCain election is in deep trouble.

This is the entire Joe The Plumber interview with Senator Barack Obama :
Obama offers a explanation of his proposal . I have encountered a lot of candidates on the trail ,but this is one of the most in depth explanations that a
candidate has offered. Obama did not just shake his hand and walk off to the next voter.

By now, "Joe the Plumber" is a household name and has become a symbol of Barack Obama's plan to "spread the wealth around." During a recent campaign event in Toledo, Ohio, "Joe the Plumber" asked a simple question and got a surprising answer from the Democratic nominee. When he asked why Barack Obama's tax plan was going to punish him for working hard and living the American Dream, Barack Obama responded, "When you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
In that brief exchange, the American people got to see what this campaign is all about ... a choice between honoring the hard work of everyday Americans like "Joe the Plumber" and increasing taxes to "spread the wealth." In these tough economic times, there is no doubt that John McCain and Sarah Palin stand firmly on the side of hardworking "everyday Joes" who understand the value of honest work and the American Dream.

Wednesday night’s debate introduced America to “Joe the Plumber.” While Joe is an actual person who is working hard to make ends meet, he represents more than just being a plumber.
“Joe” represents a fundamental difference between what we believe as Republicans and what Democrats want for our country.
When Joe asked Barack Obama about how he was going to have his taxes raised under Obama’s Tax Plan, Senator Obama responded: "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
I think Joe responded for all of us when he said: "It's not right for someone to decide you made too much---that you've done too good and now we're going to take some of it back."
Simply put, Barack Obama believes Americans should pay more taxes to pay for more liberal programs. Obama believes we should take more money from hard working Americans like you to pay for programs supported by the liberal left wing of his party.
It’s outrageous, and no wonder Joe said that Obama's Tax Plan "infuriates me." We should all be infuriated!
Democrats are already planning a victory Party that you and I know is premature. They are celebrating the possibility of having liberals in control of the White House, the Senate and the House.
If this happens, they will take more of our hard earned money and “spread the wealth around” as Barack Obama told Joe the Plumber.

Ed Gray you were off base on Joe. Whether he was playing gotcha
with Barack or not is irrelevant. Barack was walking the neighborhood
fielding questions. To his credit he answered it. The fact that that gave conservatives something to use against him does not justify
attacking Joe. He was a voter asking a question. Period. Aren't we
supposed to ask politicians the hard questions?

Joe got it wrong between business and income. Also,I found his analogy to Sen.Obama dancing around the question like Sammy Davis Jr.,distasteful at best.

Thanks to "Joe the Plumber," voters are starting to see the clear difference between John McCain and Barack Obama on taxes. Joe's story is your story ... the story of hard work and the American dream. "Joe the Plumber" isn't just one man in Ohio ... it's every person in America with hopes, dreams and the desire to work hard with the opportunity to succeed.
John McCain and Sarah Palin have an economic plan that celebrates the American dream of opportunity, not government giveaways. In this country, we believe in spreading opportunity, for those who need jobs and those who create them. That's why their economic plan - Jobs for America - is so important for the American people in this time of economic crisis.
While Barack Obama is ready to "spread the wealth around," John McCain has a plan to get our economy moving so everyone has access to good jobs, a quality education and the opportunity to succeed.

Joe the Plumber has struck a chord in the closing weeks of this election because he represents the Forgotten Man. When he confronted Sen. Barack Obama on the campaign trail with the question of what would happen to his taxes under an Obama Administration should he realize his dream of owning his own business, Joe cast the decision that faces us in this election in stark relief:
Which will be better for our economy: Politicians redistributing our wealth or growing more wealth?
